Seasonal plants are wonderful for adding instant colour and lifting the spirits. Holme always has a fantastic selection of bedding, patio plants and planters whatever the season. Look out for offers on multi buys of packs and pots, and colour your garden with fresh ideas all year round.
Bedding and patio
Pretty little pots of alpine and heathland colour which thrive in almost any garden and soil. Mostly low growing, they will reliably flower year on year and add colour early on. Easy to grow for little attention, perfect for filling a gap or larger area. Please ask which one is best for your garden needs.
Alpines and heathers
Traditional, reliable, perfumed, colourful, Holme loves roses and grows a huge selection from bare root. Everything from patio and miniature to climbers and large wandering ramblers. Also special occasion roses to mark anniversaries and birthdays.
Roses
Give a wall or trellis a boost of colour with a climbing plant. Holme has a climber for every location and season, from fast growing evergreen clematis to delicate blue sollya and solanums.
Climbers and clematis
Delphiniums, lupins, hollyhocks, geraniums, the list is almost endless. Look out for seasonal offers on cottage garden plants (also called perennials) and create the most colourful borders and planters with the ever popular varieties, and the more unusual too.

The Garden Centre is a wonderful environment to browse plants
The range of plants is superb with very wide selections of trees, shrubs, climbers, cottage garden perennials, roses, grasses, bedding plants and much more besides. We source as close to home as possible, but to extend our range we also deal with many specialist nurseries from Dorset and the south west. However, if we can’t find the plant locally, we have suppliers further afield, up country, and abroad in Holland, Germany and Italy.
All our garden centre staff are keen gardeners and know how to plant, grow, and nurture plants which means we have happy healthy plants and can provide customers with top quality advice.
If you consider yourself a novice gardener, we can help with all the advice you need but if you are already an experienced gardener you will be able to find interesting plants in our range to make your garden distinctive.
While you are here, come and enjoy a tour of our rapidly developing ornamental planted gardens to be inspired, take in the scents and see some very unusual plants.
