Putting Local Food First in Purbeck Business is booming at the new Holme Farm Shop which is good news for us and our customers. We took on the business as you may know last November and are delighted with its instant success and the support received from everybody. Liz Goldsack is extremely proud of the new Holme Farm Shop and is enjoying developing this part of the Holme for Gardens business: “We are determined to set the record straight about Farm Shop food” she said. “It's time to spread the word to everyone to come and visit us to see just how wonderfully special and affordable fresh ‘local' farm food is. We want to encourage people to buy ‘local' and firmly believe that it is something we can all enjoy and do our bit for the environment too. We have all the ingredients you need here to make your food shopping a very pleasant experience” she adds.
We are holding a special “Meet the Producers” Farm Shop day on Saturday 20 th February where everyone is invited to come along and sample some delicious local food and join with us in celebrating the new farm shop and all that is tasty in Purbeck.
And from Saturday March 27 th , look out for the new Holme for Gardens farmers market in association with the popular Purbeck Producers every fourth Saturday in the month from 10.00am until 1.00pm.
