HOLME AND AWAY - LEWIS SELECTED FOR UNDER 15's REGIONAL TEAM TOUR OF WEST INDIES Talented wicketkeeper and batsman Lewis McManus is all set for the trip of a lifetime to the West Indies this Easter to play cricket. Lewis, the son of our electrician Andy McManus, is delighted to have been selected to play in the South & West Region's Under Fifteen team two week tour and leaves on March 30th . The players will enjoy 9 games in total visiting home teams in Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guyana. The official tour is fully endorsed by the England and Wales Cricket Board and by the English Schools' Cricket Association. Holme for Gardens is delighted to help support Lewis with sponsorship. Looking forward to the tour Lewis said: "I can't wait to play on good dry pitches and meet the boys from the West Indies teams, it will give me some great experience of different wickets in the Caribbean." Lewis, who attends Clayesmore School, was also selected last autumn to play for the MCC school's team at Lords. He has been a member of the county squad since the age of 10, a member of the South & West of England regional players, his local club at Broadstone and is also member of the Dorset emerging player programme. Simon said: "We believe Lewis could well become one of the top up-and-coming cricketers in his age group across the whole of the UK. Coming from a family of keen sportsmen, his grandfather having played football for Bournemouth FC and his father Andy McManus currently plays for Dorchester FC, we are sure Lewis will go far and take great pleasure in supporting him in his sporting achievements. We wish him all the best this Easter on the under 15's West Indies tour."
