This popular service entails a visit from our 'Garden Guru',
Trish Lea, who has had 20 years experience in horticulture
including design, landscaping and forestry.
A consultation normally lasts between 45 minutes to an hour
during which time most queries can be answered. Please contact
us for a price and an appointment.
If you would like to meet Trish in person you can do so by coming to the Nursery most Mondays.
Please phone us to ensure she is on site.
So if it’s a design dilemma, ideas for improving your existing
garden, identifying your plants and knowing how to manage them,
or general garden advice, a home consultation may be the answer
for you. It may make the ideal gift for someone you know who
would appreciate an hour’s expert advice in their own garden.
The cost of a One Hour Home Consultation with Trish is £60*,
however, as a Holme Nursery loyal customer and a member of our
Privelege Card Scheme, you can use the attached voucher (worth
£15) to reduce this fee to just £45*. Trish independently
operates a garden design and development service and works
closely with local landscapers, garden maintenance firms and can
help to refer you to someone you can trust if you require
further work in your garden.
Trish is available to give advice to all Holme Nursery
customers on a Monday at the Nursery, come in and see her,
you’ll be amazed!

are able to offer a full garden design package whereby we work
with a network of independent partners who specialise in this
section of the industry.
* costs cover a 25 mile radius of Holme Nursery, extra
mileage may be charged by arrangement.
Planting
Services & Turf Laying
We are in contact with local gardeners and garden and
property maintenance companies who can carry out all manner of
garden services including lawn care, border work, paths and
driveways, patio and wall construction, tree surgery etc. We do
not receive any financial return for our recommendations but we
do try to ensure that customers are satisfied with the
reliability of those we recommend.
Plant
Doctor/Plant Pest and Disease Identification
We are happy to help you determine what might be wrong with your
plants, shrubs and trees. You may need to bring in a sample
but most cases can usually be diagnosed over the phone.
Plant
Identification
Moving into a new house, you can often inherit plants that you
are not familiar with. Bring in a twig and leaf sample or maybe
a good quality picture and we can put a name to it and advise you on the best
way to look after it.
